Taylor Swift Fans Cause Seismic Activity in Scotland

Taylor Swift’s recent concerts in Edinburgh, Scotland, caused seismic activity detectable up to six kilometers away, according to the British Geological Survey (BGS). Fans at the Murrayfield Stadium created tremors during her performances, particularly during the song “Ready for It?” The concerts, held last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, also saw significant activity during hits like “Cruel Summer” and “Shake It Off.” BGS seismologist Callum Harrison noted Scotland’s enthusiastic audience, while attendees described the experience as loud and energetic. The UK leg of Swift’s tour is expected to provide a substantial economic boost, with London Mayor Sadiq Khan expressing his excitement for her upcoming performances in the capital. Swift is set to perform in Liverpool, Cardiff, and London later this month and in August.
