Flood Death Toll in Nelson Mandela Bay Rises to 10

The death toll from the recent floods in the Nelson Mandela Bay metro has increased to 10. Police spokesperson Col Priscilla Naidu reported that severe storms and heavy rains have caused significant damage in multiple areas, including KwaNobuhle, Kariega, Walmer, Blue Horizon Bay, and Kamesh. Bodies were discovered in various locations: four in KwaNobuhle, and one each in Kamesh, Kabega Park, Chatty, and Walmer, with Kariega reporting two deaths. The 10th victim, a missing woman, was found on the Swartkops River bank in Kariega. The search for additional missing persons is ongoing.
