Cyclonic Circulation Brings Heavy Rain to Parts of India
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported a cyclonic circulation over southeast Pakistan, affecting Kutch and north Gujarat. This weather system is expected to bring heavy rainfall to central and southern regions, as well as coastal Karnataka, Konkan, and Goa. Alerts have been issued for potential localized flooding, waterlogging in low-lying areas, and the closure of underpasses in urban areas. The IMD also noted that the monsoon has covered most of the country, with the exception of western Rajasthan, Haryana, and southern Punjab.
