Tropical Cyclones Expected in Philippine Area of Responsibility for July
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has forecasted that two to three tropical cyclones are expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) in July. Weather specialist Robert Badrina indicated that these storms are likely to pass through Bicol, move towards Northern Luzon, and then recurve to Japan. These cyclones may enhance the southwest monsoon, potentially causing heavy rains in parts of Western Luzon and the Visayas. Additionally, an intertropical convergence zone will impact Palawan and Southern Mindanao, while easterlies will prevail over the eastern sections of Luzon and the Visayas.
