Severe Weather Threatens Michigan Today

Severe Weather Alert for Michigan
A stormy weather pattern is expected to hit Michigan today, with forecasts indicating a significant chance of severe thunderstorms. The highest risk area for severe weather, marked in yellow, includes most of southern Lower Michigan, where the probability of severe weather ranges from 15% to 29%.
Central and southern parts of Lower Michigan, including cities like Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, Alma, Mount Pleasant, and Flint, face the highest risk for tornadoes. The radar forecast shows a large area of thunderstorms moving through Michigan today and tonight, with two waves expected: one in the late morning to afternoon and another tonight.
These thunderstorms may bring damaging wind gusts, large hail, and isolated tornadoes. Residents are advised to stay alert and prepared for potential severe weather conditions throughout the day and night.
